The Strix Louisiana IRIS Method
Key to the success of your business is the efficient management of your business operations. At Strix, we believe that we can greatly improve your business operations by better employing the technology you already own. Further, with relatively minimal investment, your business operations can be enhanced such that your benefit far outweighs the costs. We accomplish this with our own IRIS Method:
-
Inspect
-
Recommend
-
Implement
-
Support
Inspect
The first phase of the Strix Louisiana IRIS Method is to inspect and document your current business operations. Here, Strix will shadow your employees in each department, observing the processes and needs of your employees. Interviews of key personnel and managers round out the observations. The results, including job descriptions, procedures, business flows, current technologies utilized, and available technologies, are documented to ensure proper understanding and to serve as a baseline for achieving greater efficiencies.
Recommend
In the Recommend phase of the IRIS Method, Strix will recommend ways in which you can use technology to increase your business operations efficiency. The recommendations will be at two levels.
The first level will consist of steps that you can take using your current technology to gain efficiencies in your
business process. This level includes no need to purchase any new technologies.
The second level of the recommendations will include new technologies that would make sense in your business
operations. New hardware or software can often bring returns on investment that not only help your operations,
but can also become money-makers for your company.
The recommendations will be compared to the documentation gathered in the Inspection phase so that you can truly see
where efficiency is gained.
Implement
Once the recommendations for the application of technology in your business process are decided on, we will move to
the Implementation of the IRIS Method. This phase starts by documenting any needed changes to job descriptions,
procedures, and / or business flows. Then, any necessary IT changes are made. Finally, your staff is trained on any
updated procedures and the changes are put into action.
Support
No implementation of change is complete without support. Therefore, the final phase of Strix Louisiana's IRIS Method
is the Support phase.
During this phase, we will work with you and your employees to properly utilize and practice the changes made during
the implementation of our recommendations. The support will be hands-on to make sure that everyone is on the same
page.
Often some tweaking of the new processes is necessary. During the Support phase, Strix will work with you to make any
further needed changes and properly document them.
In the end you will have better business operations that are well documented for future reference. No doubt, the
efficiencies you gain will go a long way in making your business more profitable.
