Virtual IT
First, it’s important that you understand the concept of how Strix is different than your typical computer technical service provider and what that means to your business. Ultimately, we strive for our clients to look at us more as an employee and partner as opposed to a vendor. We are going to put your needs on top by taking a proactive approach with your IT environment. We will ensure you rarely experience computer issues. We are going to advise you on where you are now with technology. And most importantly, we are going to show you how to get better and how to use technology to achieve your future goals. Technology is a powerful tool when used appropriately. Strix Louisiana’s managed services are going to help you wield that tool.
- Virtual IT Assistant
This is Strix Louisiana’s most basic managed services package. This package is geared toward companies that are either very small and not looking to grow or companies that have an existing IT staff. The goal with this package is to make sure that you are aware of what is on your network and if any networked devices are having problems. You will pay a low monthly fee to have network monitoring and issue alerting. You will receive problem alerts and will take action upon them. If you need any help with issues you encounter, you will receive two free hours of service each month. Our Network Assessment and Asset Documentation services are included at a reduced rate and are meant to help you ascertain exactly what shape your IT environment is in. We also include a basic firewall appliance at a reduced rate.
- Virtual IT Staff
This is Strix Louisiana’s most common package. With the Virtual IT staff, you are, in essence, hiring an IT staff. Strix will monitor your network and respond to any problem alerts from devices on your network. When problems arise, we are there to fix it with an unlimited number of support hours every month. To help guide you in your IT decision making we also provide you unlimited strategy meetings. A full Network Assessment along with Asset Documentation and Management is included at no extra charge. Additionally, we will install a basic firewall, again, at no extra charge.
- Virtual CIO
This is Strix Louisiana’s top level of service. In addition to the monitoring, alerting, unlimited tech support, unlimited IT strategy, full Network Assessment, Asset Documentation and Management, and basic firewall Strix will also provide your company with IT Policy Documentation and Management and Vendor Management. The Virtual CIO is like having an IT expert sitting in an executive office within your company. Strix will devise and manage Acceptable Use policies, IT Security policies, Disaster Recovery policies and any other policies you may need to be compliant in your industry. Strix will also review and negotiate all contracts you have with vendors that provide your telephone service, internet service, print services, and any other devices or software that is unique to your environment. With Virtual CIO, you have no worries for your IT environment.
Whether you'd like Strix to just monitor and report issues or if you'd prefer us to serve as your CIO, you
can rest assured that your network will experience fewer outages.
